Infant/Toddler Care
Our infant toddler program includes four infant/toddler classrooms where children ages twelve(12) months to three(3) years grow and learn in safe, nurturing, responsive, caring environments. Our teaching teams have a minimum of a Child Development Associate (CDA) and are trained in infant/toddler care and development. They provide our growing infants/toddlers with opportunities to explore, create, express their ideas, build trusting relationships, and stimulate their curiosity.
Preschool Care
In our preschool program, we provide early care and education for children ages three(3) to five(5) years old. Our preschool classrooms are lead by qualified, certified, experienced teachers who help our preschool children learn and explore! Children who participate in our preschool program build language, reading and math skills. They also develop fine and gross motor skills, as well as social, emotional and cognitive development which will help them to get ready for Kindergarten.
We also partner with the Plainfield Board of Education’s Office of Early Childhood to offer free preschool for six(6) hours per day for children ages three(3) and four(4) who live in Plainfield. After-Care and Before-Care services are also available. Call us for more information and visit the Plainfield Board of Education’s website to learn more about the program!
School-Age/After School Care
Our school-age program is the perfect solution for parents who need an after school care for children ages five(5) to twelve(12) years. Our program includes transportation to and from Plainfield and North Plainfield schools during the school year. Children may also attend when schools are closed for workshops or holidays!
Music Program
Our music program is made possible by a special grant by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, Union County Cultural and Heritage Commission. With the assistance of a music consultant, our teachers are trained in strategies to relate musical experiences into all the developmental domains. Using finger-plays, songs, and instruments, music is woven into the fabric of our program.
Summer Camp
Are you looking for an affordable program for your child to attend when school is out during the summer? Look no further! We offer a 10 week summer camp program where children participate in activities such as music, trips, fine arts, science, crafts, swimming, book clubs, and much more! Breakfast, lunch and snack are served at no additional cost to parents.
Onsite Nurse
Our program is staffed by a registered nurse whose primary responsibility is to care for children who become ill at our center throughout the day until they are picked up by their parents. In addition to the Nurse, staff members are also trained to administer medication to children who need it.
